Prepare a draft before exporting
Choose invoice or quote, then set currency, document number, dates, seller and buyer. Add descriptions, quantities and unit prices. Check required local business fields yourself: this is a document preparation tool, not government-issued invoicing or tax filing. Currency selection controls formatting and decimal precision; it does not convert exchange rates.
Check the calculation with a worked total
For USD: 2 items at 100.00 give a 200.00 subtotal. A 10% discount removes 20.00; 5% tax on the remaining 180.00 adds 9.00. Shipping of 10.00 produces a 199.00 total. With 50.00 already paid, the balance is 149.00. Tax is applied after discount and before shipping; this order is a tool rule, not a claim about every tax jurisdiction.
Keep the quote when creating an invoice
Use Quote to invoice to create a separate invoice while retaining the original quote. Review the new number, dates, items and payment terms before sending anything yourself. Up to 30 documents can stay in one session, with 200 items per document. The tool does not email customers, record payments at a bank or maintain an accounting ledger.
Save an editable backup and check PDF pages
Print or save PDF from the browser for sharing, and inspect every page of a long invoice. Download JSON for later editing; a PDF is not a restorable document backup. Download all documents as ZIP to keep HTML, CSV, JSON and documents.json together. Restore documents.json with JSON import. Closing or reloading the page clears session data, so save before leaving.
Tax calculation
Keep up to 30 documents with 200 items each. Choose tax-exclusive, tax-inclusive or no-tax prices, two additive tax rates, exempt items and optional shipping tax. Reuse business templates, set payment dates and export item or summary CSV. JSON backups remain compatible with version 1.
