Worked examples
Conversion keeps pixel dimensions, not necessarily file size or metadata. These examples describe output behavior; actual file sizes depend on the source image and quality settings.
| Example | Input / settings | Expected result |
|---|---|---|
| Batch WebP to JPG | 3 still WebP images → JPG | 3 JPG images plus output reports in one ZIP |
| Transparent WebP to JPG | 1200 × 800 → JPG | 1200 × 800 px; transparency uses the selected background |
| WebP to PNG | 1200 × 800 → PNG | 1200 × 800 px; transparency is preserved |
Batch convert WebP to JPG
Add your still WebP files and choose JPG as the output format. All images use the selected quality and background color, while each keeps its original pixel dimensions. Review the previews, then download the converted images and output reports in one ZIP.
Each file must be no larger than 20 MB or 40 megapixels. A batch accepts up to 12 files, 60 MB total input and 60 megapixels combined decoded input. Files are processed in your browser; keep the originals because re-encoding can change metadata and color handling.
What conversion changes
The browser decodes the source and encodes a new image at the same pixel dimensions. JPG cannot store transparency, so transparent pixels are filled with the selected background color.
JPG and WebP use the selected lossy quality setting. PNG is lossless for the decoded pixels but can produce a larger file. Browser support and encoder output can vary.
Supported input
Use a static JPG, PNG, or WebP file up to 20 MB and 40 megapixels. Animated images, HEIC, RAW, uploaded SVG, and professional color-profile conversion are not supported.
Canvas export can change metadata and color handling. Keep your source file if you need its original metadata or exact color-managed appearance.
