Image Watermark Tool

Add multiple text layers, drag them into place, rotate them, or repeat a watermark across your image.

Add text over your image. Preview changes before exporting.

Batch watermark

All images share the current watermark layers. Positions and sizes scale with each image. Each file keeps its original dimensions.

Drag a watermark in the preview to move it.

Images stay in this browser. Exporting creates a new copy and does not overwrite the source.

    HOW IT WORKS

    01

Choose a still image and enter short watermark text.

    02

Adjust scale, opacity, and placement while previewing the result.

    03

Download the watermarked copy in any available output format.

    Worked examples

Drag the selected layer in the preview. For a mixed batch of landscape and portrait images, inspect each preview: relative positions can stay consistent while the image shape changes. Selection outlines are not included in downloads.

Example Input / settings Expected result
    Two independent layers
    © Wei2 + example.com
Each layer has its own position, angle, and opacity.
    Diagonal repeated text
    © Wei2 · 30°
Enable repeat on the selected layer and adjust spacing in the preview.

    Preview placement before export

Each layer has its own text, size, color, opacity, rotation, and position. Add up to 20 layers. Repeated watermarks share the style of their layer. The outlined selection box is only shown in the preview and is not exported.

A watermark can make casual reuse less convenient, but it is not encryption and can be cropped, covered, or removed. Keep an unmarked original for later editing.

    Export notes

PNG preserves transparent pixels in the source. JPG fills transparent areas with the selected background color and applies lossy compression.

Image processing stays in your browser. Most source metadata is not carried into the exported copy.

    A FEW HELPFUL ANSWERS

    Before you get started.

Can I upload a logo as a watermark?

This version adds text only. An image-logo watermark can be added later as a separate feature.

Can I remove the watermark from the original?

The source file is never overwritten. Downloading creates a separate marked copy.

    Will the watermark prevent copying?

No. It is a visible ownership cue, not a technical access control.
