HEIC to JPG and more

Convert HEIC or HEIF still photos locally to JPG, PNG and more. Rotate, resize, set quality or print PPI, then download individual images or a ZIP.

Updated

Up to 12 files, 20 MB each; 60 MB total input and 60 megapixels decoded. Still images only.

90%

PPI changes print density, not pixel detail. Quality 100 is still lossy for JPG.

Source preview

Orientation is decoded by the image library. Metadata, HDR and exact color-profile appearance are not preserved. Keep originals. HEIC containers export their first decoded still image.

    Current capabilities and limits

The HEIC decoder exports a decoded still image, with up to 12 files, 20 MB each and 60 MB total input. Rotation and flips apply before proportional resizing. EXIF, HDR and exact color-profile appearance are not preserved.

    Convert HEIC without uploading photos

Choose HEIC or HEIF files, select JPG and set a maximum width only if resizing is needed. Leave width and height at zero to keep the decoded dimensions. Convert, review the preview and download the ZIP. A multi-image HEIC container exports only the first decoded still image, not every embedded image.

    Capabilities and limits

The HEIC decoder loads only when needed and runs in a worker. Up to 12 files, 20 MB each, 60 MB total and 60 megapixels decoded. Export JPG, PNG, WebP, BMP, TIFF or static GIF; AVIF export depends on the browser. Metadata and HDR are not preserved.

    A FEW HELPFUL ANSWERS

    Before you get started.

Does HEIC to JPG keep photo metadata and HDR?

No. Keep the original HEIC files. This tool makes browser-usable copies; a quality value of 100 does not make JPG lossless. PNG avoids additional lossy compression of decoded pixels.

    Is my input uploaded?

Processing stays on your device. No account is required. Download your results before closing this page.

Will conversion preserve metadata and transparency?

Metadata, HDR and exact color-profile appearance are not preserved. JPG, BMP and GIF fill transparency with the chosen background. Choose PNG or WebP when transparent pixels matter, and keep the original file.
